Battle of Naseby - June 14th, 1645

Battle of Worcester - September 3rd, 1651
The final battle of the English Civil War
in which Oliver Cromwell's "New Model Army" defeated the Royalist's forces loyal to Charles II.  Battle Map

                     

Battle of the Severn - March 25th, 1655
A skirmish which took place on the Severn River at Horn Point, across Spa Creek and what was then named Providence, Maryland (following the battle the name was changed to Annapolis, 1694).  This battle has been considered an extension of the conflicts that formed the English Civil War pitting forces aligned with Lord Baltimore, then perceived as Royalists, against those of Puritan colonists.
